Crisis Center of West Texas' shelter, Louise Wood Angel House remains open to survivors and their minor children fleeing domestic and sexual violence. CCWTX's free services, including education, counseling, legal advocacy, case management, and safety planning are offered both in-person and online.

Louise Wood Angel House
Crisis Center of West Texas' emergency shelter, Louise Wood Angel House, opened in Odessa, Texas in April of 2019. Through the shelter, Crisis Center of West Texas aims to create an environment conducive to healing as survivors rebuild lives free from violence.
The 16,000 square foot facility offers 61 beds for adult survivors and their minor children. The facility includes a community kitchen, playground, classrooms, playrooms, dining area, laundry rooms, a fitness center, and four rooms with attached kennels for dogs.

Our mission is to respond, shelter, and educate to end domestic and sexual violence in West Texas. We believe everyone deserves a safe and healthy relationship, and we work every day to make that a reality for men, women, and children in the Permian Basin and beyond.
