ODESSA, 12/13/2016 – Seven students representing Dowling Elementary will donate electronic tablets at 4:30 p.m. today at the Crisis Center to cap off their fundraising efforts. The Crisis Center will allow victims staying at its Louise Wood Angel House Shelter to use the tablets for entertainment purposes, which is a welcome escape for people who often leave with just the clothes on their back to escape abusive relationships.
Gracious students at Dowling Elementary spent the year fundraising to give hope to victims of domestic violence and sexual assault. At the end of a highly-successful campaign, the students raised enough money to buy and donate seven electronic tablets to the Crisis Center. The Crisis Center is located at 910-B South Grant Ave.
